The possible reason it could be that you may run into the error message,  if you are running Windows in Safe Mode or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed.

How to fix QuickBooks Error 1719?

There are 3 possible solutions to resolve the QuickBooks Error 1719. Try with Solution 1 to solve the problem, if it still not getting solved, jump to solution 2 and then 3.. It might be possible that you may need to try all the solutions to fix the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown. In case the error issue  was generated in QuickBooks 2014, please ignore solution 2 and After Solution1, skip to solution 3.

Solution 1 – Please reboot your computer so you are not running in Safe Mode to fix QuickBooks Error 1719

Safe mode is a troubleshooting option for Windows that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. The words Safe Mode appear in the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you’re using. By rebooting your computer, you are attempting to start your Windows on a normal boot and attempting to fix any error that has occured on the background when Windows loads the system. If you are still getting the same issue after rebooting your computer, please proceed to solution 2.

Solution 2: Ensure you have the latest Windows installer for each Windows operating system to fix QuickBooks Error 1719

On your keyboard, press the Windows logo+R. The Run dialog box will open.

Enter msiexec then click OK. The Windows Installer window opens.

 

For Windows Vista make sure you are using Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable. In case you are not using it , you can download it from Microsoft website.

For Windows 10, 8 and 7 Windows Installer 5.0 is pre-installed on Windows 7 and other higher versions.

 

Solution 3: Use QuickBooks Install Tool to fix QuickBooks Error 1719

Download, install and run QuickBooks Install Tool. This tool will attemp to fix Microsoft components which are required for QuickBooks program to run on your computer and fix issues relating to the program not opening, not working correctly, or if you suspect damaged Microsoft components such as .NET Framework, MSXML, and C++.

 

 

Detailed instructions

The QBInstall tool will automatically attempt to detect and repair the error you are experiencing when installing QuickBooks.

Download the QBInstall Tool and save it to your desktop.

Double-click the QBInstallDiagnosticTool.exe.

Now, if you see:  Unable to locate QuickBooks installation files, you will need to re-run the installer to populate the installation files in the temp folder, which the QBInstall tool uses for repairs.

If case, you see:  No Error Details Found, then the QBInstall tool did not detect any errors with your installation.

Finally, If you see:  an Error Detected, click the Proceed button to apply the recommended fix.

 

After the QBInstall tool applies the fix, you will need to reboot your computer, and then try the installation again.
